What is Coaching & Mentoring?
Health coaching serves as a guided self-management strategy. Its primary aim is to assist individuals in making more informed and deliberate life, work and health-related decisions. Through this approach, individuals are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to live better and to manage their condition. Health coaching emphasises the importance of individuals setting goals and finding solutions, thus playing a proactive role in their health management and decision-making regarding their future well-being.
Life coaching helps you gain clarity, set achievable goals, and make meaningful progress toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. Life Coaching & Mentoring actively involves you in driving self-directed change.
Coaching focuses on helping individuals achieve specific goals through guided self-reflection, skill development, and action-oriented strategies. Mentoring, on the other hand, involves a more experienced person offering advice, guidance, and support based on their own experience to help someone navigate their personal or professional growth.
How many sessions do I need?
Clients start by exploring with one free 15 minute appointment. We are Outcomes Star practitioners and on average our clients book 6 sessions in total. Sometimes clients prefer to work on their goals longer. Coaching & Mentoring is always individual, tailored service to work toward the outcomes you need to achieve.
Who can benefit from Coaching & Mentoring?
Coaching is one-on-one work with individuals who wish to focus on matters they recognise need change to achieve and maintain their well-being.
Coaching and mentoring benefit individuals at any stage, from employees seeking career advancement to adults aiming for personal growth or improved decision-making. It provides tailored guidance for those motivated to achieve goals, overcome obstacles, and unlock their full potential.
It is also a strategic method for individuals with a greater risk of their conditions worsening. GPs and Health services can proactively identify individuals who would benefit significantly from health coaching.
